Manager of Interactive Auditing

To ensure timely and accurate completion of audits that meet industry standards.

    Responsibilities:
  • A working manager that will have both oversight responsibilities and be responsible for the timely completion of ABCi client web audits to industry standards.
  • Document internal and customer deliverables in statements of work.
  • Advise customers on best practices and deliver supporting documentation.
  • Guide new website audit clients through the initial audit, including working to develop data transfer procedures, documenting accounting procedures utilized by the client, designing report format and contents.
  • Coordinate and lead special and/or one-time projects related to the audit/accreditation of interactive media technologies. This includes determining the scope of engagement, budget, development/execution of the audit plan and writing the opinion and management letters on completion.
  • Ability to translate broad marketing strategies into technical applications.
    Job Specifications:
  • 3-5 years experience with web analytics reporting tools (Omniture, WebTrends, Coremetrics, Google Analytics, etc.) and implementation required. Ideal candidate will have extensive Omniture exposure.
  • Prior auditing experience desired. Public accounting experience with an emphasis on information technology audits preferred.
  • CISA, CPA, or other related professional certifications preferred.
  • Experience with modeling, analysis, campaign performance measurement, and forecasting a plus.
  • Proficiency in Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
  • Four-year degree required; accounting or information technology degree preferred.
  • An extensive knowledge of relational databases, specifically: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2 databases
  • A comprehensive knowledge of web servers, specifically: Apache, Microsoft IIS, and iPlanet. Familiarity with mail (SMTP) servers a plus.
  • A basic knowledge/exposure to business intelligence tools and audit tools, specifically: ACL, Business Objects, Cognos and MicroStrategy a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; must be a team player who excels in juggling multiple projects and working across department lines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.

Publisher Relations Manager

Liaisons with publisher clients within a geographic region on all ABC matters, not specific to an audit, to assure client satisfaction on publisher member related matters. Support prospective and existing publisher clients in understanding rule applications, audit applications, and general ABC operating procedures. Participate in training programs for publisher members and services provider members of ABC.

    Essential Functions of the Job
  • Responsible for all aspects of member relations pertinent to the general audit function.
  • Interface with other departments to solve member related issues.
  • Act as the source for all rule interpretations.
  • Conduct training for publisher members and service provides on both application of ABC rules and policies and technical audit/record keeping matters.
  • Provide timely feedback on all publisher member inquiries.
  • Represent ABC at industry functions to provide technical support.
  • Assist Audit Managers on a limited basis in efforts to solve member issues.
  • Assist publishers in audit preparation.
  • Interface with marketing department regarding prospective client contact/client retention.
    Job Specifications
  • Four-year college degree required.
  • Previous ABC experience preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Strong orientation to finding solutions to problems.

Auditor

    Responsibilities
  • The auditor works independently to complete multiple audit assignments.
  • Auditors conduct a verification of circulation claims by applying standardized auditing procedures to establish compliance with ABC’s Bylaws & Rules, and render an opinion attesting to the fact.
  • The auditor will maintain regular contact with their manager to resolve audit issues and concerns.
  • Auditors will maintain regular contact with publisher members.
  • Ability to travel (up to 25% may be required).
    Requirements
  • Four year degree required in a business field with at least nine hours of accounting.
  • Relevant business experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and resolve audit issues.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of business software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
