Michael K. Moran, Executive Vice President, Auditing Services

Michael K. Moran acts as executive vice president, auditing services, for the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), the world’s first and largest circulation-auditing organization and North America’s preferred circulation auditor.

In 2004, Moran was promoted to the position of executive vice president over the key auditing division of ABC. With more than 30 years of auditing experience, Moran has led ABC through its evolution as the recognized leader in circulation auditing today. Under his leadership, ABC has expanded its reach to include a new Insert Verification Service that audits newspaper preprint distribution, the establishment of ABC Interactive that audits Web site activity, centralized and electronic audit programs, ABC Rapid Report, Agent Compliance Evaluation, postal audits and more, including research verification services like Reader Profile and Subscriber Profile.

During his tenure, the auditing group has grown to offer publishers additional support through the creation of the Publisher Relations department, a group of experienced ABC auditors who educate, train and advise thousands of ABC publisher members on the application of ABC rules and policies.

Mike Moran is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF). While attending UCF, he worked as a Circulation District Manager for the Orlando Sentinel.
