Robert W. White, Senior Vice President, Canada
Robert W. White is Senior Vice President, Canada, of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC).
White joined ABC in 1990 as Director, Canadian Member Services, bringing with him 15 years of experience in advertising sales and management with major publishing groups in Toronto and Montreal. He was promoted to Vice President, Canada, in 1992, and elected Senior Vice President in March 1994 by ABC's Board of Directors.
White assumed additional responsibilities in 1995 when ABVS was established to serve the verification requirements of new and non-traditional, census-based advertiser-supported media in the U.S. and Canada. ABC Interactive provides independent third-party auditing of websites and other interactive services to industry-developed standards. Expomark verifies exhibition attendance, attendee demographics, and record keeping systems. ABVS New Media fulfills the buyer's need for audit verification in non-traditional advertiser-supported media, such as book covers and educational posters distributed in schools.
A Toronto resident, White is bilingual in English and French. He received a bachelor of arts degree in marketing, film, and French from Concordia University in Montreal. He is a past President and Director of both the Advertising Club of Toronto and the National Advertising Benevolent Society.
