New Conference Format
A condensed schedule is planned for this year’s conference. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, will offer two concurrent Nuts & Bolts Sessions for newspapers and periodicals followed by separate receptions to enhance networking opportunities.A full day on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, opens with a continental breakfast, followed by the annual business meeting and general session. Keynote speakers will represent academia, interactive and publishing. The annual luncheon will be followed by division-specific meetings. These meetings consist of director elections and a tailored session to address issues relevant to that member constituency. A closing reception is slated to conclude at 5:30 p.m.
