Terminology Changes

The word ''arrears" has been eliminated from Paragraph 7 of Publisher's Statements and Audit Reports of magazine and farm publications and Paragraph 9 of business publication reports and the phrase ''Post Expiration Copies" substituted. Because the term ''arrears" continues to be applicable to newspapers and the fact that Chapter B and the Glossary apply to all publisher divisions, no change in the rules has been made at this time.

The phrases ''Average Paid Circulation" and ''Bulk Sales" have been eliminated from reports issued for ABC newspaper members and the phrases ''Average Paid Circulation (By Individuals and for Designated Recipients)" and ''Third Party (Bulk) Sales" substituted. Because the phrases ''Average Paid Circulation" and Bulk Sales" continue to be applicable to magazines, business publications and farm publications and the fact that Chapter B and the glossary apply to all publisher divisions, no change in the rules has been made at this time.
