ABC membership offers you the best way to stay abreast of circulation changes that directly affect your clientele.
Annual Dues = $75

Academic Associate Membership

Today's journalism, marketing and advertising students are tomorrow's publishers, media buyers and advertising agency executives. With this in mind, the Audit Bureau of Circulations invites your institution to join ABC as an academic associate member. We can provide your university’s students, faculty and staff with ABC reports and services for classroom and research purposes.

ABC audits the circulation records of most major newspapers, consumer magazines and business publications in North America. As a member-regulated organization that upholds established industry-established standards, ABC offers authoritative, believable and comparable reports.
Only students, faculty and staff of ABC-member universities may access ABC data. By becoming an ABC academic member, you’re gaining access to the source of the most recent circulation data in the industry. This data is the same information used by the industry’s top publishers, advertisers and agencies and is a valuable tool for discovering trends in circulation, prices, readership and much more.
There are two options for academic associate membership.
Library Resource Center Membership (New)
Membership is held by the university library to enhance its digital resources. All university students, faculty and staff have the opportunity to access ABC data upon request.
Annual dues = $250
Benefits of membership include:
- Access ABC's eStatements, which is updated every 24 hours
- Educational booklets and web training to provide a better understanding of ABC reports
- Dedicated ABC staff to help navigate ABC’s products and services
- Purchase additional ABC products at regular member rates

- Additional licenses available for $100 per license
Academic Department Membership
Access is restricted to the academic department that holds membership.

With more than 1,200 newspapers as members, the Audit Bureau of Circulations provides circulation numbers that are accurate, believable and credible. When you present a report generated by ABC, your potential advertisers receive the assurance they want. You can stake your reputation on it. We do.
