June-Ending Newspaper Audit Reports
More than 100 U.S. daily newspaper members release Audit Reports that cover the 12 months ending in June. As the end of the reporting period approaches, these newspapers are preparing for their 2009 audit. With new rules in effect as of April 1, 2009, these newspapers may have some minimal circulation generated under the new guidelines. However, because the majority of the circulation was governed by the previous rules, ABC will release June-ending Audit Reports in the traditional format with two price groups: 50 percent and above, and at least 25 percent but less than 50 percent.
