Ask ABC: I subscribe to ABC's eStatements or online database and when I log in, I see several menu options. Can you describe what those options are?
eStatements is part of ABC’s e-Data services and provides subscribers with an online resource that allows them to access, view and print electronic versions of all current and historical ABC Audit Reports, Publisher's Statements, Supplemental Data Reports, Web Activity Reports, Interim Publisher’s Statements and Publisher’s Statement Transition Reports, including TMC data. Subscribers to eStatements can elect one or both modules: eStatements -- 3 Year eStatements -- Historical Once logged into the e-Data site, the user may have access to several menu options, in addition to eStatements, depending on the type of subscription they have. Active e-Data products are listed on the left side of the screen and are viewed as blue (grayed-out options indicate that the options are not available to the subscriber unless the subscriber would like to purchase additional access to those products). Here is a brief description of all the data products available to an ABC e-Data subscriber as viewed from the main menu: The Main e-Data Screen ![]() Audit Reports and Pub Statements – This is what is known as the eStatements portion of the e-Data site. Here is where PDFs of both claimed circulation data and audited circulation statements are available. Audit Status Report (see below) – Allows the user to check the status of an audit in progress. ![]() eCirc – A quick, concise search for ABC top-line circulation (based on the latest released FAS-FAX report) information; lets the user sort and search summarized circulation data by publication title, state/province, U.S. SRDS or Canadian CARD classifications. eFAS-FAX – This is the online version of ABC’s widely used FAS-FAX top-line circulation report, reflecting the latest Publisher’s Statement claim. eFAS-FAX is available in three different categories of reports: “Mag/Rel/Farm” for consumer magazines, religious publications and farm publications, “Business” for all business publications, and “All Newspapers” for both daily and weekly newspapers. eFAS-FAX is downloadable in either MS Excel or PDF formats. ePeriodicals – This is ABC’s specialized analysis tool that pulls data from ABC’s periodical circulation database and offers analysts and planners a powerful way to sort ABC circulation data for more informed media decisions. The tool is available in four modules:

eMagTrends – This online report is designed for advertisers, advertising agencies and publishers interested in objective information on a large number of ABC-audited magazines. This five-year tabulation of paid and non-paid total circulation and rate base data for U.S. and Canadian periodicals is published annually and also tracks single copy sales and subscriptions, prices, premiums, post expiration copies and advertising page rates. eMagMarket – These online reports are designed to provide a quick reference to current magazine circulation aligned to standard market areas and are available in either a designated market area (DMA) or metropolitan statistical area (MSA) report. These analyses include information for all ABC-audited publications that report paid circulation analysis by county via an ABC Supplemental Data Report (SDR). eFactbook – This online report analyzes circulation data for Canadian daily newspapers and the markets they serve and allows users to analyze circulation trends for ABC-audited Canadian newspapers, download, sort and evaluate data in several formats, export data into other media research analysis tools and consult future historical releases via a built-in online archive. eRatebook – This online version of the Daily Newspaper Circulation Rate Book is released annually following the filing of the September 30th Publisher’s Statements. The eRateBook comprises “basic” price data for all released ABC-audited daily newspapers effective in the city of publication. This compilation includes single copy prices, as well as home delivery weekly and monthly rates. Listings include United States, Canadian and international publications in alphabetical sequence by state/province and then by city.
