ABC Unveils New Buyer Support Center and On-Demand Training Modules
Earlier this week, ABC launched the latest enhancement to its recently redeveloped Web sitethe Media Buyer Support Center. This center is designed specifically to meet the needs of ABC-member advertisers and advertising agencies. “The Media Buyer Support Center complements the Publisher Support Center launched earlier this year,” commented Neal Lulofs, ABC’s senior vice president, communications and strategic planning. “It serves as a portal into the entire ABC Web site and presents buyers with direct access to the information that is most relevant to them.” The center contains links to various content within the ABC Web site, including FAQs, training programs, resource guides, rule explanations, board actions, news and events, and product and service information. The support center also includes five new on-demand training modules:
The on-demand training modules are a recent addition to ABC’s ongoing training programs that also include webinars, on-site workshops and custom training classes. Each module is a self-contained lesson that allows media buyers to learn or review a specific ABC topic in an interactive environment. The modules are available for free on ABC’s Web site. Most sessions are just five to seven minutes and include an instructional slideshow with voiceover. Corresponding handouts are also available. “The on-demand training sessions are a great way for buyers to spend just a couple of minutes learning about specific ABC topics,” concluded Lulofs. “We’ll be expanding the library of topics in the months ahead to include more modules for both our buyer and publisher members.” Related Links: |
