ABC’s Annual Conference Addresses Cross-Platform Media Integration

The growing convergence of print and digital technology reflects a major shift in the media landscape. Print media brands already established with advertisers realize that to be successful in the future, the most effective strategy combines print and online publishing vehicles.

Emphasizing this media trend, this year’s 93rd ABC conference, titled, “The Integrated Future,” covers two major themes: integrated branding and an exploration of a single-audience buying metric. The conference and annual meeting are being held at The Fairmont, Chicago, on Nov. 7 – 9, 2007.

Attend the conference to find out how to enhance your media brand and learn about the changing roles of circulators, ad sales people and media planning/buying from some of North America’s top marketing/advertising and publishing experts.

Register before Sept. 9 and receive the early bird rate (a $100 savings)

The conference will explore how using both traditional print publications and digital technology extend the reach of advertisers to target more prospective customers in specific markets. Joint panel discussions of both advertisers and publishers will explore critical topics such as how integrated branding affects daily business and ways to reinforce your brand.

Some of the featured speakers include:

  • Scott Heekin-Canedy, President and General Manager, The New York Times
  • Renetta McCann, CEO, Starcom MediaVest Group
  • Alec Gerster, CEO, Initiative Worldwide
  • John Squires, Executive Vice President, Time Inc.
  • David Verklin, CEO, Carat Americas and chairman, Carat Asia Pacific
