e-Data Launches Two New Online Products for the Newspaper Industry this Spring
ABC launches two new e-Data products for the newspaper division. Newspaper Circulation Rate Book The Newspaper Circulation Rate Book, listing "basic" prices for daily newspaper members in the United States, Canada and internationally, will move to an online format for the first time this spring. The Newspaper Circulation Rate Book, published annually, is a comprehensive reference report of single-copy prices and home-delivery rates for all ABC daily newspaper members. The report also lists combined daily and Sunday rates. The rates published in the next report will be based on the Sept. 30, 2005, Publisher's Statements. The new online version of the report will be available through the e-Data login site and can be downloaded in a PDF or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format. ABC members can receive one license for online access to the report for $120. More than 400 ABC members currently subscribe to the hard-copy version of the report. Non-Paid Circulation Newspaper Module e-Data will also launch a new Non-Paid Circulation Newspaper Module that will allow members to view non-paid circulation separately from newspapers with paid circulation. The new module will be included in the eNewspaper Analysis Tools in the e-Data login section of ABC’s Web site. The non-paid module will be also be available this spring and will include data beginning with the December 2005 Audit Reports. Members who already subscribe to the eNewspaper Analysis Tools will be able to access the new module for free for a limited time. “Both the Newspaper Circulation Rate Book and the Non-Paid Newspaper Module were created at the request of our members,” said Gladys Searcy, ABC’s director of marketing and sales. “As the demand for accessibility and versatility of ABC data grows, the e-Data department is constantly looking for ways to improve our online services and create new products to meet our members’ expectations.” For more information or pricing on the Newspaper Circulation Rate Book, Non-Paid Circulation Newspaper Module or any other e-Data products, visit the ABC Web site or contact the at (877) 222-0932. |
