ABC Launches New Online Filing Tools That Offer Credit Options For Newspapers On October 8, ABC will launch a new series of online tools for newspaper members called Audit QuickLink. Audit QuickLink helps streamline the audit process by letting newspapers submit ABC audit documents and forms electronically prior to the auditor’s arrival. Newspapers are encouraged to take advantage of these online filing tools for their September-ending audits to help reduce audit costs and time. “Audit QuickLink is a welcome tool for newspapers looking to improve efficiencies in their audit,” said ABC’s Ken Shultz, vice president of field auditing. “One of the greatest benefits of the tool is that it allows newspapers to provide a substantial volume of audit documentation prior to the auditor’s scheduled visit. This puts members a few steps ahead in the auditing process and can help lower audit costs.” Highlights of the tools: Cost-savings: Complete the Paragraph 3 worksheet and Online ABC Book and receive a credit on your next audit. Interactive: Members and auditors can work on documents and forms within the tools at the same time. Secure: The login for the tool is member-specific and password protected.
