ABC Rapid Report Preview Now Available

An interactive preview and demo of ABC Rapid Report is now available for ABC publisher members. Publishers can preview the data entry tool by entering their member number and the user name and password they use to file their Publisher’s Statement online. The preview will be live through June 30.

The ABC Rapid Report preview is a replica of the official ABC Rapid Report program. Publishers can fully test the new consumer magazine circulation-reporting tool by entering and editing their circulation data. After a publisher has entered data, they can view a summary and download it to Excel.

During the preview phase, publishers will only be able to access their own publication’s data. Any data entered will be kept private and will not be available to the general public. On June 30, the entire ABC Rapid Report preview database will be wiped clean in preparation for the official launch of ABC Rapid Report on July 1. Publishers should wait to enter July-dated issue data until after July 1 when the official ABC Rapid Report program is available. After July 1, data entered into the ABC Rapid Report program will be available to all ABC members with online access.

An online tutorial for ABC advertiser and advertising agency members will be available later in May.

The creation of ABC Rapid Report was a collaboration of ABC-member publishers, advertisers and advertising agencies working together to address an important strategic need for more frequently reported circulation data. ABC Rapid Report allows publishers to voluntarily report their top-line circulation data on an issue-by-issue basis within weeks of the on sale or distribution date. The service will be available at no additional charge to publishers beginning with July-dated issues. Report data will also be free to all ABC members with online access.
