Consolidated Media Reports for Magazines
Approved at the November 2006 board meeting, ABC’s Consolidated Media Report for consumer magazines compiles circulation from Publisher's Statements and Web site traffic data, along with any other auditable media, into one aggregated figure providing advertisers with a capsule summary of a publication's overall brand.
How It Works
A Consolidated Media Report is not an audit program; rather it is a report format that allows current consumer magazine members, who also participate in ABC Interactive’s Web audit, to inform advertisers about their overall brand with a conveniently located, ABC-verified report.
Quick Facts:
- Circulation data is pulled from the magazine’s latest Publisher’s Statement and will be subject to audit during the publication’s annual audit.
- The Consolidated Media Report has a shelf life of approximately six months. It is updated twice a year, after the release of the consumer magazine's latest Publisher’s Statement.
- The released reports are available alongside ABC Audit Reports and Publisher’s Statements to subscribers of ABC’s e-Data online database.
Note:
Although the reporting option is newly available to members, ABC will seek advisory committee input on the new report’s final format and nomenclature in the next few months. Check back here for more information as it becomes available.
