This online publication consists of three distinct sections:

• Daily Newspaper Circulation by Market, County, Census Division and Regional District or Territory—This section lists total circulation averages for each newspaper, extracted from the most recent ABC Audit Report. Separate figures are reported for each of the established market areas and for the total average circulation. Circulation figures are also reported for Census Metropolitan Areas as well as the newspaper’s county or census division circulation for each market. Home market circulation is shown plus figures for other counties or census divisions where the newspaper reports circulation of at least 250 copies or a five percent circulation/occupied household ratio.
  
  
• Five-Year Circulation Trends in Metropolitan Areas—Shows five-year trend data on circulation of daily newspapers in the 25 Census Metropolitan Areas, including household coverage ratios, single-copy sales, subscription sales and their percentage of total average circulation.
  
  
• Ranking by Circulation Size—The first table in this section ranks daily newspapers by total average circulation for each edition. The second table ranks Saturday newspapers by total average circulation. The third table ranks Sunday newspapers by total average circulation.

This report is published annually and was developed at the request of Canadian media planners for a convenient and comprehensive reference source on newspaper circulation and coverage in the Canadian markets.
