Preprint Projection Center
The Preprint Projection Center is a new online tool to help newspapers streamline the cumbersome task of updating preprint quantities, zones, dates and distribution. It provides publishers with a secure, confidential centralized location to upload projected circulation data on a monthly basis, 90 days in advance of distribution. At the same time it gives advertisers and agencies more timely circulation projections to better project their preprint production requirements.
The Preprint Projection Center is easy-to-use, free for newspapers and advertisers and is privacy-protected. This means it allows advertiser members access to all the newspaper data, whereas publishers are unable to open other publisher’s data.

Highlights of the Tool
- Publishers can update data as often as necessary
- Publishers can upload data in various formats such as Excel, PDF, etc
- Advertisers have the option to open or download files for future use
- Data is accessible in one central location
- Bonus days or other exceptions supplied by publishers in advance
- Projections for seasonal fluctuations will be available in appropriate markets
Media Buyer access:
- Click on the "Reports and Data Access" blue bar at the right side of the screen.
- Enter your member number, e-Data user name and password.
- Once registered, ABC will send you a confirmation e-mail. Click on the link provided to validate your account.
- Once inside the e-Data tool, select the "Preprint Projection Center" button.
- New users:
- Once inside the PPC tool, enter your member number for verification.
- Once verified, create a PPC username (a valid e-mail address) and password.
- When returning to use the tool at a later date, simply enter your member number, PPC username and password.
Newspaper access:
- Roll your mouse over the "Online Filing" blue bar at the right side of the screen.
- Scroll down and select "Preprint Projection Center."
- Enter your member number, online filing user name and password.
Instructions on how to use the filing tool are available online, as well as a demo product with corresponding instructions.
