New Rapid Report Requirements and Improved Navigation

ABC recently made some changes to the Rapid Report program within the Publisher Filing Center, including inserting new fields for magazines to report replica digital edition circulation and a new navigation menu.

Consumer Magazines Now Required to Breakout Replica Digital Edition Circulation in Rapid Report

At its July meeting, the ABC board modified the Rapid Report program to require publishers to breakout their print and digital circulation separately similar to the new June 2009 Publisher’s Statement format.

The Rapid Report program has been updated to reflect this new requirement and now includes four new fields for the replica digital edition circulation: under the subscription, verified, single-copy sales and analyzed non-paid headings.

Magazines should begin entering print and digital circulation separately with their next Rapid Report issue.

Rapid Report Redesign Improves Navigation

In addition to the new fields for reporting digital replica editions, ABC has also made some changes to the navigation for Rapid Report.

Upon logging in, Rapid Report participants are now greeted with a main menu screen that allows them to choose from three options: issue listing, data review and Rapid Report output view.

After selecting an item from the main menu screen, a new left-hand navigation bar allows participants to easily toggle between the main menu, issue listing, data review and output view screens.
