Audit QuickLink
Audit QuickLink streamlines the audit process by letting newspapers submit ABC audit documents and forms electronically prior to the auditor’s arrival.
The tools allow newspaper members to control their audit costs by obtaining a credit for completing and submitting advance audit documentation.
Highlights of the Tool
- The more information provided by the members, the less time needed to answer auditor questions
- Members can make updates at any time and as often as desired; update contact information, complete and submit forms electronically, download and prepare necessary documents and increase work productivity
- The online tools are interactive, allowing members and auditors to access and work on the tools at the same time
- Members who complete the Paragraph 3 worksheet and ABC Online Book receive a credit in their next ABC invoice
Credits
Non-metro newspapers may earn credits by submitting the following information:
- Paragraph 3 data
- Online ABC Book
Due to the complexity of the audits, major metro and non-paid/TMC newspapers are still billed by the hour. While these newspapers will not earn a specific credit, they can reduce the number of audit hours, which directly affects the cost of the audit.
Submission Deadlines
To earn a credit, newspapers must submit their data within 15 days of the close of the audit period. Newspapers that miss the deadline may still submit their data via Audit QuickLink, they just won’t receive a credit.
For more information on the sections of Audit QuickLink or find out how to earn a credit, please contact your audit manager.
