Board Request Rule Modification—Final Passage March 2007

From time to time, various circumstances cause a publisher member to submit an exception request to the board of directors for consideration

At the March 2007 meeting, the board of directors granted final passage to modify Article 10.2 Procedure.

Effective March 12, 2007, all exception requests to be considered by the board of directors must originate from the publisher or an individual in general management other than the circulation executive.

As a reminder, effective November 13, 2006, this bylaw was also modified to require all exception requests to be submitted to ABC headquarters not less than 14 business days in advance of the scheduled board meeting.
