Welcome to ABC’s new U.S. Newspaper Qualification and Reporting Support Center. This center will be a valuable resource for you as we spend the next three years converting to new U.S. newspaper rules and report formats. Designed to serve as a resource hub, it will house everything from board actions and prototype reports, to NewsBulletin articles and training opportunities, to rule language and resource guides. Everything you need to know about the changes will be posted right here, as soon as the information is available.
These momentous changes are truly representative of ABC’s role as a forum for industry input. Created, vetted and endorsed by both newspaper publishers and advertisers, the changes are intended to simplify ABC rules, reduce certain audit costs and provide greater pricing and marketing flexibility for publishers. Perhaps most critically, they will equip buyers with the essential information they need to make informed decisions about the value of newspapers.
