Process and Controls Audit
The ABCi process and controls audit is a comprehensive review of a vendor’s infrastructure processing procedures and general control environment surrounding a digital measurement plastform. This helps clients add credibility to their numbers by proving they can report data that is accurate, consistent and auditable to industry standards. Examples of this include audience measurement and web analytic usage systems, email tracking and analytics, key word search reporting, app usage reporting, attribution and other systems support billing and collections in the interactive world.
Ad Serving Technology Audit
The ABCi ad serving technology audit is an independent verification of ad activity for a defined period. In addition to a comprehensive process and controls review, the ad serving technology audit includes an examination of measurement methods, caching, filtration and reporting of ad activity against the guidelines specified in the IAB standards. Upon completion of the audits, a vendor can assure their clients that they are serving ads and reporting advertising activity in compliance with the IAB standards. This type of audit is recommended for both networks and publishers using proprietary ad serving technology and those using enterprise solutions or “off-the-shelf” software.
