ABC’s Centralized Audit Service allows business publications to complete their annual circulation audit in a timely and flexible manner with fewer interruptions for the publication’s staff. Members enrolled in the service compile their audit documentation and submit it to ABC either via mail or electronically. An ABC auditor then works to verify the publisher’s circulation claims from ABC’s office.
Benefits of the Centralized Audit Service:
- Timely release of circulation data.
- Greater flexibility in preparing audit documentation.
- Fewer interruptions for the publisher’s staff.
- Potential for cost-savings.

For the most part, the entire audit is conducted at ABC’s office instead of the publisher’s office. The auditor will need to visit the publisher’s office to review a sample of cash-related transactions, but should only be at the office for a day.
The Centralized Audit Service is ideal for business publications that do not use one of the major fulfillment houses including those that are self-fulfilled or use a smaller fulfillment house.
To learn more about the Centralized Audit Service, members are encouraged to contact ABC’s
manager, centralized electronic audit applications, at (847) 879-8355.
