Free ABC Training for Ad Sales Teams
TKO (Training - Knowledge - Organization) Program
TKO (Training - Knowledge - Organization) is a free training program designed to help beginning and intermediate level advertising sales executives build a solid foundation of circulation-related knowledge. The main purpose of TKO training is to equip ad sales executives with the knowledge base necessary to successfully use ABC data to communicate to their perspective media buyers.
Sample Training topics:
“The TKO session I attended was very informative and time well spent. As a sales person with little to no experience with advertising agencies, I found the section describing the difference between a buyer and a planner and ABC’s role very valuable. One of the most helpful tools I received was the prototype “pink sheet,” complete with detailed line-by-line information that I would need to understand in a sales call. TKO gave me a better understanding of what drives our industry and what agencies are seeking. The information presented in the training session is something that all entry-level sales people should learn if pursuing a career in publishing."
